Ajax Creative Arts is celebrating 60 years of creativity and community with “Rooted In Art 60 Years Together,” a free three-day event running October 23–25, 2026, at Ajax Creative Arts. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the talent, passion and imagination found right here in Durham Region.
Visitors can explore artwork from more than 20 local artists, enjoy live demonstrations and browse local shopping opportunities. Families are invited to get creative at the children’s art table, while the tea room offers a relaxed place to pause, connect and enjoy the celebration.
With free draws and plenty to see, this event is an easy way to support local artists and spend meaningful time in the community. Whether you are an art enthusiast, a family looking for a fun outing or a neighbour discovering Ajax’s creative scene, there is something for everyone.
